Announcement Regarding Annual General Meeting & Banquet

We hope that everyone is doing well in the current circumstances and that you are all taking the necessary steps to keep yourselves and your families safe. As we reach what would have been the usual end of the curling season, we wanted to send out a quick update to keep you all informed. The Omemee Curling Centre Board of Directors has been meeting monthly (now remotely) and continues to review and meet the needs of the Centre. The Board has decided to cancel this years Annual Banquet, however, will look at hosting an event to kick-off our next season. Check back to our website for more details. Due to current unprecedented social distancing rules, brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic the Board of Directors has also decided to postpone this years Annual General Meeting (AGM). The Board will continue to discuss the future date of the AGM on a monthly basis and will set a date once we are able to. Our goal is to have as many members attend, and feel as though alternative mediums will not reach all of our members at this current time. Our Board continues to plan for the 2020/2021 curling season and look forward to getting together with our community. We hope that you and your family are doing well and keeping safe.
